AHC Softball Season
The softball season is just beginning at AHC and the athletes are already enthusiastic for what this spring’s future holds.
Many players are thrilled for the warm weather and team activities that will occur this season. The games are filled with hard work and determination while still fitting in some energetic cheers and jokes.
Sophomore Rosemary Sui mentioned, “I’m excited for the first game of the season! It’s a lot of fun playing with all my teammates and the games really help bring everyone together.”
However, the season had a bit of a rough start for some students. “Some of the tryouts and first couple of practices were rough because I hadn’t worked out in a while. They just kind of made my body sore,” explained Junior Allison McCord.
The team also welcomed Coach Stach to the team this year to help them reach their goals for this season. She has helped them improve their skills needed to beat the competition and focus on the rewards that will come with their hard work. She has helped inspire the team motto of redemption for this year and is helping guide them on their journeys this season.
Many of the athletes are very hopeful for this season. Sophomore Gabbi Stewart exclaimed at the beginning of the first game, “We got this!” series of cheers followed her inspirational shouts and kicked the season off with a positive bang.
