There was a cross country meet at Stevenson University on Saturday September 8, 2018, at 7:30 in the morning.  It was called the “Spiked Shoe International.” Junior Varsity and Varsity athletes ran a race on an open air course. The race was three miles long.  

Varsity ran first.  Anna Avila, Isabelle Pla, Leslie Fontaine, Ella Torp, Bri Dade and Martha Hrdy, ran for varsity.  Avila’s was the fastest time.

Then Junior Varsity  ran. Madeline Mara, Catherine Hunt-Neu, Molly May, Rachel LaMagna, Margaret Torp, Abby Akers, Gracie Bonato, and Clare Kimiecik all ran. Hunt-Neu broke her personal record. Akers also broke her personal record too!

Belane Ayelework  and Camille Schmidt are on the team but they did not run.  

Coach Carlos Pla told the girls in an email, “You all ran fantastic!”
